The role
Position Overview
We are looking for a responsible and experienced Driver to join our growing team at MoveMiles HQ. The ideal candidate is punctual, professional, and comfortable operating moving trucks while leading a small crew on residential and commercial moves.
What you'll do
Key Responsibilities
- •Safely operate 16–26 ft moving trucks across Toronto and the GTA
- •Load, transport, and unload furniture and household items with care
- •Lead and coordinate with movers on-site
- •Ensure proper wrapping, padding, and secure placement of items
- •Complete daily vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues
- •Provide friendly, professional customer service during every move
Requirements
- •Valid G driver's license (DZ license is an asset)
- •Clean driving record
- •Experience driving larger commercial vehicles preferred
- •Physically fit and able to lift 50+ lbs
- •Strong communication and leadership skills
- •Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends
